In November 2016, Great Plains Regional Medical Center is the only Hospital in Western Oklahoma and only 1 of 12 Oklahoma hospitals named among the nation’s top performers for Quality Patient Outcomes by The National Organization of State Offices Rural Health and iVantage Health Analytics, two of the leading advisors of rural healthcare organizations in America.
In February 2016, The Emergency Room at Great Plains Regional Medical Center was named by Becker’s Hospital Review as a Top 20 in the Nation for its superior Quality Outcomes and efficient care delivered. On average, patients are registered and initially evaluated by a Physician in less than 10 minutes.
Great Plains Regional Medical Center is a 62-bed, Joint Commission accredited, acute care facility. In keeping with our heritage, everyone on our team, from our healthcare professionals and medical staff, to the Board of Trustees, is working together to ensure that quality healthcare is available to our community. Our medical staff of more than 100 physicians and Providers is highly trained and exceptionally skilled within their fields, offering advanced care in more specialties and subspecialties of medicine than any other facility in Western Oklahoma and North Texas. We are continually developing new services and programs that keep our system at the very forefront of medicine.
