Nuclear Medicine Technologist - FT

Description

Full Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed in busy Radiology Department. Experience preferred. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides thorough processing of all diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and is responsible for maintaining and complying with the guidelines of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities. Multiple cardiology tests and nuclear medicine tests conducted. 

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Orders and/or prepares the appropriate radiopharmaceuticals
  • Performs highly technical nuclear medicine procedures and utilizes computers to process and manipulate patient data to attain exam results
  • Maintains proper records to assure the department operates within the guidelines established by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission
  • Records patient results on the proper media
  • Performs quality control procedures on all nuclear medicine cameras, dose calibrators and well/probe counters
  • Manipulates complex mathematical formulas to calculate decay of radiopharmaceuticals and their biological half-lives, and compounds complex drug kits, which may follow difficult and precise patterns of production

Position Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and oversight of all revenue cycle functions across the health system. This includes patient access, billing, coding, charge capture, claims management, payment posting, accounts receivable, and collections. The Director ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, maximizes reimbursements, and drives process improvements to optimize financial performance and the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in all revenue cycle operations.
  • Oversee the full revenue cycle including registration, scheduling, insurance verification, coding, charge entry, billing, collections, denials management, and cash posting.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as days in A/R, clean claim rate, and denial rate.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage revenue cycle teams including managers, supervisors, and frontline staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial leaders to align revenue cycle goals with organizational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, payer contracts, and audit requirements.
  • Drive implementation of technologies (EHRs, billing software, RPA tools) to automate and enhance revenue cycle functions.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for executive leadership and board-level presentations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cost-to-collect and enhance patient financial engagement.
  • Serve as a liaison with payers and vendors to resolve payment issues and contract disputes.



PARS (Patient Account Receivable Position) - FT - FT

FT PARS Position in busy Business Office. 

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the PARS Position –Primarily responsible for effective collection on patient accounts, accounts receivable follow up, and reimbursement analysis.

 Essentials Skills and Experience

·         Must have experience in a medical accounts receivable role such as:

o   Accounts Receivable Representative

o   Patient Collections

·         Must have Working knowledge of medical, accounts receivable, collections, rejects, denials, appeals, and research billing guidelines and policies

·         Demonstrated knowledge of  CPT, HCPC,  ICD-10 Modifiers, UB04 & 1500 forms

·         Knowledge of Healthcare system

·         Demonstrate professional when working with insurance companies in obtaining payment in full

·         Ability and willingness to work with professional with all other associates within the Business Office

·         Working knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies including reimbursement reductions, fee schedules

·         Be able to prioritize and multi task

·         Work to achieve the Accounts Receivable to be under ninety (90) days from the date of discharge

·         Research and Resolve reason for denials

The Clinical Informatics Analyst is responsible for optimizing healthcare information systems to enhance electronic health records (EHR) and streamline patient care processes. Working closely with clinical providers, this role designs and implements clinical content and workflows to ensure the delivery of real-time knowledge to end-users, especially in the Meditech Magic environment. Through data analysis and collaboration, the Clinical Informatics Analyst supports clinical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of patient care and operational efficiency. This position reports to the department’s Director of Technology and Supervisor and works in coordination with other Clinical Analysts to identify and mitigate areas of risk. The Clinical Informatics Analyst is expected to follow any directives given by the Director of Technology and Supervisor. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • System Optimization: Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop, implement, and optimize EHR systems and related technologies. 
  • Clinical Content Design: Format, design, and integrate clinical content into workflows to support knowledge sharing at the point of care. 
  • Project Management: Manage projects focused on patient care process design and conduct reviews to maximize benefits across the organization. 
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze clinical data to support decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. 
  • Training & Support: Train and support clinical staff on new technology implementations to promote seamless integration and user adoption. 
  • Risk Management: Coordinate with Clinical Analysts to identify and address potential risks in clinical workflows.
