Description
The Clinical Informatics Analyst position provides project management and coordinates patient care process design and reviews activities access to the organization to ensure maximum benefits and enhancements are achieved. Responsible for formatting, designing and building relevant clinical content into appropriate workflows to provide end-users with knowledge at the point of care in our Meditech Magic environment. This position is responsible for identifying areas at risk in coordination with other Clinical Analysts under the supervision of the Department Director.

Job Summary:
Provide repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical
equipment, instrumentation and support systems used in healthcare delivery.
Execute inventory assessment/audits and preventive maintenance of medical
equipment. Provide remedial corrective maintenance and maintain documentation
of all service events, tests, and maintenance performed on clinical equipment.

Duties include:
- Repair,
install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect medical equipment,
instrumentation, and systems.
- Perform
preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical
equipment, devices, and systems, and monitor completion of preventive
maintenance activities performed by outside vendors.
- Understand
and comply with Joint Commission and other applicable standards and
regulations.
- Research
and recommend new equipment.
- Maintain
accurate inventory, tracking both the addition and the deactivation of
clinical equipment.
- Maintain
documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and
failures.
- Assist,
manage, and monitor third-party repairs and service contracts.
- Collaborate
with IT and HIM to ensure Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act (HIPAA) compliance and connectivity of biomedical devices.
- Individual
will maintain good personal relationships with fellow workers, nursing,
medical staff, vendors, manufacturers, and the general public. Will be
expected to participate in meetings, seminars, training, workshops,
conferences and committees as required. Will maintain a clean and safe
work place.
